Knitting and Stitching........

Just back from the knitting and stitching show in the RDS. We (my sister and I) had a wonderful day out, did not spend half as much as other years, I guess the internet helps ! We used to shop for Ireland.

We took in three workshops, braiding - beading - and kantha sewing. The sewing one was a deffinate hit with me, and the lady running the beading workshop was so lovely it was hard not to like it.

So have two projects to finish off tonight - will post up photos soon!

Halloween Treats

Take an empty glass jar - these wee ones from Ikea (2.39 for 4) are perfect for the job ....

Cut out two 2.5 inch circles of patterened paper for the sides and a 1.5 inch circle for the top ...

add a plastic embellishment or two or perhaps some wee stickers ...

Fill generously with sweets - hit the euro shop ! - add in a small plastic halloween toy for effect


And finish off with a halloween mini gift tag ....



And you have the perfect little halloween treat ... can be stored on its side or bottom ...
