Back in blog land ...

Don't know why it would not let me log in for ages but lo and behold - here I am back.

Did anyone notice? Probably not !!

What have I been doing in January. Work is still an ongoing feature. Got through my probation period, so thats something!

Also won 'Value of the month' in work - bit like employee of the month - got a fandabby t-shirt - and a gift voucher for 50 euro (for Ikea!!).

Em .. what else is happening. Back to mosaic class, and am making great progress with the new improved splashback. Watch this space.

Roisin made a gingerbread house. Ok so we cheated a wee bit - we got one in Ikea - they come flat packed !!

This house is on my road, and I was fortunate enough to get to know its previous owner and spend some time there. Its a beautiful listed building, which the current owners have negelected.



And should I ever win the lotto - which is what it would take - then I am going to buy it and restore it.

.............Decorations. Make for much less dusting and cleaning in the house. Which is nice.

We drove up but could not make it up the hill...car slid backwards despite the brakes. So we walked the last bit to check on the little housie and all was well. If a tad cold.

turning the ordinary into ......

If you take some simple things like ... a bar of chocolate, a couple of candy canes, some sweets, some chocolate biscuit cake ... and add some cardstock, polybags , paper and time...

And then pop them into a wee basket - wrap the lot in celepane and add a christmas bauble ...

You end up with a fab looking christmas gift for quite a small amount of money.
